Pensylvania School Grows and Utilizes Shrub Willow Biomass

The East Lycoming School District is applying many renewable energy initiatives to their campus. Some of these initiatives include a biomass boiler system and a shrub willow plantation on the district's property. They intend to begin harvesting and using their own biomass in the heating system next year. Dave Maciejewski, who is the business manager of the district, give us a tour of the facilities and kindly answers questions.
